CFD Analysis of Shenoy Nagar Metro Station(CMRL)
The aim of this project is to examine and improve the effectiveness of the designed ducted smoke ventilation system for Shenoy Nagar Metro Station using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools. The specific aim is to find the optimal locations, number & configuration of the ducts/grills required for the ventilation of the Public Development Area (PDA), such that under fire scenario it meets the requirements set by health/safety regulations criteria and smoke extraction criterion and in the event of fire provide relief from heat and smoke in the area of interest and assist fire fighters in locating and attacking the fire safely.
