CFD External Flow & Thermal Comfort Analysis of a Building
The area of interest is the ground floor of a building which has to be ventilated using natural & forced ventilation. The objective is to maintain adequate temperate inside the building using both the natural & forced ventilation.
Conclusion
- Simulation has accurately predicted the velocity, temperature & RH.
- The simulation was carried out for summer (max temperature) & monsoon(max humidity) climate conditions.
- Weather data such as wind direction, velocity, temperature & humidity has been used to simulate the ambient conditions.
The analysis simulates both internal & external flow of the building.
