Objective
Auditoriums are used for assembly of large numbers of people, hence maintaining thermal comfort will help in improving the productivity of its occupants. This analysis will study & optimize the performance of an Auditorium Air Conditioning System. The simulation has taken into account both the internal(human & equipment heat load) & external(solar heat flux) heat source.
Results
- Simulation results show uniform temperature profile.
- Large temperature gradients have been removed.
- Simulation was carried out for both summer & monsoon conditions and results show optimized flow profile & uniform temperature gradients in both cases.
