Data Hall Cooling Analysis
We perform detailed CFD simulations to evaluate airflow distribution, temperature uniformity, and hot-spot formation within data halls. The analysis assesses the effectiveness of containment systems, rack layouts, and CRAC/CRAH configurations under different load conditions. Results help optimize cooling efficiency, improve rack inlet temperatures, and enhance overall energy performance and reliability of the data center.
External Flow and Thermal Analysis
Our external flow CFD studies examine how wind patterns, nearby structures, and heat rejection systems influence air intake and exhaust performance. The analysis identifies potential recirculation, short-circuiting, or contamination risks that can impact cooling system efficiency. Insights from the study guide optimal placement of chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, air intakes, and exhaust stacks to ensure stable operation across varying environmental conditions.
Buffer Tank Thermal Analysis
We carry out CFD analyses of buffer tanks to study temperature stratification, flow distribution, and charging/discharging behavior within chilled water systems. The simulations help evaluate diffuser design, minimize thermal mixing, and maintain desired temperature layers for consistent supply to cooling coils. This ensures stable system operation, improved chiller performance, and enhanced energy efficiency across data center load variations.
